Use it to camouflage imperfections for a flawless nude eye look, or wear underneath powders and creams to extend color wear and intensity the makeup eyeshadow look.

Applying eyeshadow can enhance your eyes and complete your makeup look. Start by applying an eyeshadow primer to create a smooth base. Choose three shades: a light base colour, a medium shade for the lid, and a darker shade for the crease. Using an eyeshadow brush, apply the light base colour all over your eyelid. Apply the medium shade on the lid and blend it slightly into the crease. Finally, use the darker shade in the crease for depth and definition. Blend the colours together using gentle strokes to achieve a seamless transition. Finish with eyeliner and mascara for a polished look.

The longevity of eyeshadow depends on various factors, including the quality of the product, the type of eyeshadow (powder, cream, etc.), and whether you use an eyeshadow primer. Applying eyeshadow over 50 involves using softer shades and focusing on blending. Choose matte or satin finish eyeshadows, as shimmery shades can emphasize fine lines. Use neutral shades like soft browns, taupes, and muted purples. Blend the eyeshadow well to create a subtle yet defined look that enhances the eyes without appearing too heavy.

To clean an eyeshadow palette, gently wipe the surface of each eyeshadow with a clean, dry tissue or cotton pad to remove excess product. For a deeper clean, you can lightly spritz a makeup brush cleaner onto a clean tissue and then gently swipe your brushes over the tissue.
